Integrations

IPTV Deck works without any outside account. Each one you connect adds something: subtitles, posters and plots, watched marks, subtitle translation.

Settings → Integrations on every device: in the Services group on a phone and on a television, Windows, the Mac and LG and Samsung TVs. On a phone the screen lists Connected accounts; on a television each card opens a panel on the side.

CardWhat it addsHow you connectPer profile?
OpenSubtitles.comSubtitles for films and episodes that have noneUsername and passwordNo, one for the account
TMDBPlots, posters, cast, genres, trailers; with a sign-in, watchlist and ratingsYour own API key, and a sign-in for each profileThe key no, the sign-in yes
TraktWatched marks both ways, watchlist, ratings, scores from other sitesA code you approve on trakt.tvYes
SIMKLWatched marks both ways, Plan to Watch, ratingsA code you approve on simkl.comYes
Google GeminiSubtitle translation, and subtitles made from the audioYour own API keyNo, one for the account

A Kids profile has no Integrations screen. Set its TMDB and Trakt up from your own profile, see Setting up a child’s profile.

  • Signed in as …, with the name of the account or, for a key, Key ending in its last four characters.
  • Use …: a switch that turns the service off on this device only, without signing out. The card then says Connected, but switched off on this device. It is a device setting and does not follow your account.
  • Disconnect, which asks first, Disconnect …?.
  • Reconnect with Your session ended — sign in again. when the service ended the sign-in on its side.

With Keep my passwords in my account on, the card says Kept in your account, so your other devices sign in by themselves. Every device signed in to your account then connects by itself the next time the app opens or comes back to the front: OpenSubtitles, TMDB and Gemini for the whole account, Trakt and SIMKL for each profile.

With it off, each device keeps its own sign-in. OpenSubtitles, TMDB and Gemini can be sent to another device from Settings → Devices; Trakt and SIMKL are connected with a code on each device.

What Disconnect does depends on that switch too:

Switch offSwitch on
OpenSubtitles, TMDB, GeminiThis device forgets the sign-inThis device and your account forget it; your other devices stay signed in until you disconnect them too
Trakt, SIMKLThis device forgets the sign-in of the profileThe profile is disconnected on every device

With more than one of TMDB, Trakt and SIMKL connected, When more than one service is on shows up under the cards:

SettingChoicesStarts onWhat it decides
Title data fromTMDB, TraktTMDBPlots, posters, cast and trailers come from this service first. The other one fills the gaps
Watchlist and ratings inTMDB, Trakt, SIMKLTraktThe watchlist row on Home and the buttons on a title page talk to this service

Both are per device and stay on it. A rating you give goes to every service you are signed in to, and what you watch is sent to Trakt and SIMKL both when both are connected.

Integrations in the account panel connects TMDB, OpenSubtitles and Google Gemini and keeps them in your account, signs other profiles in to TMDB, and lists the profiles connected to Trakt and SIMKL with Disconnect for each. Trakt and SIMKL cannot be connected from the browser.

Skip intro appears on its own on a film or an episode whose intro is known: from a media server that marks it, or from IntroDB, a free community database. The same database says where the end credits begin, so Up next and Finish the film come as the credits start. There is no card and nothing to connect, and it works without TMDB or Trakt. Tap it on a phone, or press OK on Skip intro · Press OK on a television or a computer. See Films and series.
