Windows or the Mac cannot save
IPTV Deck cannot save changes right now
Section titled “IPTV Deck cannot save changes right now”On Windows, the Mac and Linux the app can find that the system lets it read its data but not change it. It then shows a warning, IPTV Deck cannot save changes right now, with OK. It says, for example:
Windows lets IPTV Deck read its data but not change it, so new playlists, favorites and settings will not be kept.
On the Mac it names macOS. Until you fix it, a playlist you add, a favorite or a changed setting is not kept.
Why it happens
Section titled “Why it happens”The warning says which of two causes it found:
- This usually means an antivirus, ransomware protection, Controlled folder access or a backup program is blocking its data folder.
- Another program is holding its data file right now, often an antivirus or a backup program.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”- Open the program the warning names: your antivirus, the ransomware protection or Controlled folder access of Windows, or your backup program.
- Allow IPTV Deck there.
- Close IPTV Deck and open it again.
