How to Delete Your Account
If you want to delete your account in SpeakItEasy app (developer: Zbigniew Szepczyński Software), follow the steps below:
Request via Email
Send an email to mistyksu@gmail.com with the following information:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request – SpeakItEasy"
- Email address associated with your account
- Confirmation that you understand the consequences of account deletion
We will respond within 48 hours and process your request within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete the following data:
- Profile data – name, email address, user ID
- Learning history – conversation history, sessions, progress
- Vocabulary and flashcards – saved words and review progress
- Achievements and streaks – earned badges, streak data, statistics
- App preferences – language settings, difficulty level, interface preferences
- Subscription data – purchase history and subscription status (data in RevenueCat)
Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be stored for a certain period or remain in third-party systems:
- Error reports (Sentry) – anonymous diagnostic data may be retained for up to 90 days for app stability analysis
- Analytics data (Firebase Analytics) – anonymized usage statistics may be retained according to Google's policy
- Payment data – Google Play / Apple may retain transaction history according to their own policies
Note: Audio recordings are not stored – they are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after the session ends.
Processing Time
- Deletion via email: up to 7 business days
- Propagation to external systems: up to 30 days
Consequences of Account Deletion
- You will lose access to any purchased subscriptions
- Your learning history and progress will be permanently deleted
- Saved vocabulary and flashcards will be deleted
- You will not be able to recover your account or associated data
- To use the app again, you will need to create a new account
